The Survey Says!
Here's What You Think About The Gulf Oil Spill
July 30, 2010—Last week, the Citizens Utility Board (CUB), one of Illinois' premier consumer watchdog groups, asked you to give your thoughts on the Gulf oil spill, and more than 2,000 of you responded. Thanks!

CUB likes to take the pulse of Illinois consumers on key energy and/or utility issues in order to be the best consumer advocate possible. The answers given by 2,025 of you were fascinating, and they're summarized below.

If you haven't taken the survey, we'd love to hear from you! Fill out the survey here.
Also, congratulations to Stanley Stoner, of Dupo, who won $150 of free electricity when his name was drawn randomly from the respondents. "Well, hallelujah, that's nice!" the 63-year-old Union Pacific Railroad retiree said. "I've never won anything before in my life."
