CUB saves on WCL phone bills

"Can you look at my gas and electric bill before you go?" Windy City Live Host Val Warner said after CUB Executive Director David Kolata showed her how to save $80 a month using the CUB Cellphone Saver.

August 22, 2011—CUB (Citizens Utility Board) has been around for 27 years, advocating for all Illinois consumers.

You can call, go to their website, or attend one of their workshops to learn how to cut your bills. They help people save money on all of their utility bills, gas, electric and phones. Monday, we're talking phones.

CUB Executive Director, David Kolata takes us through WCL Producer, Dawn Watkins' land line bill and Val's cell phone bill. He found big savings and gives tips on how you can too!

CUB operates a Consumer Hotline (1-800-669-5556) that provides assistance to individual consumers who have complaints against their utility companies.
