November 23, 2011 —CUB staffers had a good chuckle reading more than 200 Thanksgiving captions sent in by Illinois consumers. Thanks!

Edward, of North Aurora, won CUB's $50 drawing, and pledged to donate his winnings right back to the consumer group. "You guys do a great job!" he said. Edward's winning caption: "Put them in a deep fryer."

While only one consumer won CUB's prize, we received hundreds of worthy submissions. Here are a few of our feather-ruffling favorites:
