CUB To Give Bolingbrook Consumers
CHICAGO, May 20, 2009—Citizens Utility Board (CUB) experts will provide Bolingbrook-area consumers with the latest tips to make their homes more energy efficient, including how to schedule a home energy audit, get new rebates for energy-efficient appliances, and take advantage of financial incentives for wind, solar, and other renewable energy investments.
Energy Efficiency Tips, Speak About Renewable Energy Incentives And Rebates “Energy efficiency is a great uncaptured resource,” CUB Outreach Director Sarah Moskowitz said. “By taking a few simple steps, consumers can not only lower their monthly energy costs, but they can also help lower energy prices overall.” Attendees will hear about the latest clean-energy developments in Illinois and changes in the electric and natural gas industries that could have a dramatic impact on consumers’ bills in coming years.
