“CUB has saved consumers more than $10 billion over our 25 years, so it’s part of our mission to show people how they can take a few simple steps to lower their utility costs,” CUB Outreach Director Sarah Moskowitz said. “Keeping money in consumers’ pocketbooks is our priority.”

The event is:

Noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29
2659 S. Kedvale Ave.
Chicago

CFLs use just a quarter of the energy of regular incandescent bulbs and each can save up to $50 over its lifetime. The bulbs will be distributed one per adult while supplies last.
