CUB To Help Herrin Consumers Keep A Lid On Utility Bills
CHICAGO, Aug. 25, 2009—The Citizens Utility Board (CUB) will help Herrin consumers battle the bad economy by providing the latest tips to cut monthly utility costs, including how to trim phone bills by potentially hundreds of dollars a year.
Budget-conscious consumers should not miss this event. Attendees will hear about energy-saving methods used to tackle tough electric and natural gas bills, learn how to resolve disputes with their utilities, and get the latest on policy developments in Illinois’ utility industry. Phone customers will also learn how they could save an average of $200 a year on phone bills by ditching unnecessary services and switching to the most economical plans. The event is:
