The next time you look at the cable box on top of your TV remember this fun fact:
Big Cable charges us $20 billion a year for those clunky boxes.
Aren’t our bills high enough without big cable companies forcing us to pay $200+ a year in rental fees?
Now there’s been a major development in Washington, and you can help win a victory for consumers!
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has proposed a plan that would allow us to avoid those cable rental fees and swap the pricey boxes for cheaper devices or apps. Big Cable, of course, likes that $20 billion and it’s doing everything it can to derail this reform. So we need the FCC to move as quickly as possible.
