These Illinois cities and neighborhoods have registered the highest electricity savings through, CUB’s free online service that can show a consumer how to cut power bills by hundreds of dollars a year.
The money-saving tool recommends simple actions that consumers can take to reduce waste and home energy costs. The online service allows users to connect to their ComEd account so the tool can record actual kilowatt-hour (kWh) savings.
Illinois consumers can earn points based on their savings that can be redeemed for restaurant and shopping gift cards for such popular retailers as Target, Amazon and Chili’s.
