is filled with simple actions consumers can take to make their homes more energy efficient and save money. The money-saving tool allows consumers to connect to their ComEd accounts to track their actual kilowatt-hour (kWh) savings.
Consumers earn points based on their savings that can be redeemed for shopping and restaurant gift cards from national retailers, such as Amazon, Target, Barnes & Noble or Chili’s.
“CUB helps people save in so many ways,” Valeri said. “And this is yet another tool they’ve come up with that helps consumers manage their finances.”
Not long ago, CUB presented the residents of Rockford and Arlington Heights with “Green in 2015” awards for being top energy savers in Illinois. They’re among 20 communities that have registered the highest electricity savings through.
