Update on the battle to protect our Internet: The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) this week formally voted to move forward with a proposal to gut Internet consumer protections called “net neutrality.”
We want to thank the 2,000 people who signed our initial petition earlier this month. Here’s why it’s important for all of us to keep sending messages:
The FCC won’t make a final vote for months—and it just opened a public comment period on the matter. Plus, if this eventually becomes a legal battle, it will be helpful for consumer advocates to show there’s overwhelming support in favor of the current net neutrality rules.
