Join CUB and the Crete Public Library for a Utility Bill Clinic at the Crete Public Library (1177 N. Main St., Crete, IL, 60417). Bring current copies of electric, gas, cable and landline/cellphone bills and speak one-on-one with a CUB counselor who can review them, answer questions and give money-saving tips. 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 13, Clean and Healthy Naperville: A Community Discussion (in-person event)
CUB is helping to host an event at Naperville Municipal Center (400 S. Eagle St., Naperville, IL 60540) to help people learn more about building electrification. We will discuss how switching to electric appliances can reduce your carbon footprint, lower energy costs and protect your health. During the workshop participants will have the opportunity to give us feedback and ask questions regarding the campaign for cleaner, more affordable heat. This event is hosted by CUB, Illinois PIRG, Accelerate Climate Solutions and the Naperville Environment and Sustainability Task Force (NEST, a group of concerned citizens working to enhance environmental sustainability in Naperville).
